KallypsoCon 2015




You are invited to join USA Today Bestselling Author Kallypso Masters and six of her author friends for the second annual KallypsoCon! The theme of this year’s event is Military Romance, and she’ll be joined by New York Times and USA Today bestselling authors  Sharon Hamilton, Cristin Harber, Elle James, Kennedy LayneJ.M. Madden, and Teresa Reasor and our fans October 30 thru November 1 in Nashua, NH, an hour northwest of Boston, MA.

We’ll spend a relaxing, informal weekend talking about books, playing games, and getting to know each other better. Here’s a tentative schedule (subject to change):

Friday, October 30

3 pm-6 pm: KallypsoCon Registration (and hotel registration begins at 4 pm)
6 pm-9 pm: Welcome Buffet Dinner (included)
9 pm-12 midnight: Q&A with Top Griz—Kennedy Layne’s husband and Kally’s Marine subject expert

 Saturday, October 31

8 am-9 am: Late Registration
8am-9:30 am: Breakfast Buffet (included)
9:30 am-12 noon: Q&A Panel with Featured Authors
12 noon-2 pm: Lunch Break (on your own, not provided)
2 pm-4 pm: Book Signing / Meet the Authors (open to the public)
6 pm-8 pm: Buffet Dinner (included)
8pm- 12 midnight: Halloween Costume Party w/Bar (drink tickets included)

Sunday, November 1

10 am-12 noon: Champagne Brunch (included) and farewells for those who have to leave early
1 pm-4 pm: Afternoon Fun & Games

As the sponsor, I’m trying to keep the cost as low as possible, too. Registration fees will be used solely for this event (with a goal to cover event costs not to make a profit. The cost of meals and drinks alone will be at least $150). Attendance is LIMITED to the first 100 paid registrants. We’ll start a waiting list if we fill up beyond our capacity. (See Refund Policy below.)

$175 of the KallypsoCon registration fee includes all official activities of the weekend event, including parties, panels, book signing, and four meals including the Friday dinner, Saturday breakfast, dinner, and bar during the Halloween party, and the Sunday champagne brunch. Registration fees also include premium swag from the featured authors and KallypsoCon souvenirs. The additional $7 is to cover all PayPal fees.

Hotel check-in is 4 p.m. EDT and check-out is 11 am EST (Daylight Savings Time ends Sunday morning!). Once your paid registration is confirmed, we’ll send you the hotel promo code for discounted rooms at the hotel venue. The rates of $99/night for both King and Double Bed rooms expire Sept. 30, so please book your room by that time. You don’t pay until you check in, but be aware that cancellations on/after the hotel’s cancellation date will result in a fee being charged to your credit card per the hotel’s policy.


If you’d like to hook up with others who are attending and share a room, please refer to the roommate file in the *closed* KallypsoCon 2015 group on Facebook. (Once you’ve paid, Charlotte will send you information about joining this group for paid registrants only.) Then just make arrangements with others who are attending. Only one person staying in each room should make the reservation. The event sponsors aren’t responsible if anything falls through, so keep in touch with whoever has the reservation and with the hotel to make sure it is confirmed before the Sept. 30 cutoff for the rate.


If for any reason you have to cancel your attendance, in order to meet our financial obligations for food and premium swag ordered, refunds will be made on the following schedule (Eastern Daylight Time, or New York City time):

Full (100%) Refund (less PayPal fees, if any): through 12 midnight EDT Aug. 1, 2015

75% Refund (less PayPal fees, if any): from 12:01 a.m. EDT Aug. 2 through 12 midnight EDT Oct. 14, 2015

No refunds available Oct. 15, 2015, or after because we will have to pay for that persons meals and all expenses related to the con (See hotel’s cancellation policy for room, as well).
